Cocoon Fires ceiling-mounted bioethanol fireplace with black rod
The Cocoon Aeris is a ceiling-mounted bioethanol fireplace that brings elegance and modern design to any interior. This version features the iconic Cocoon globe combined with a fixed black ceiling rod and matching bracket. With its sculptural form and matte black finish, it serves as a striking design piece — even when not in use.
Designed by Federico Otero, the Cocoon Aeris offers a refined heating solution without the need for electricity or a chimney, ensuring flexible installation in a wide range of living spaces.
Burner and heat output
The fireplace includes Cocoon Fires’ 1.5-liter manual burner (Cocoon 2.0 Burner System), which offers up to 5 hours of burn time per refill. The heat output reaches approximately 3 kW — typically sufficient to heat rooms of 35–40 m². The burner features adjustable flame control and does not require any power supply.

The included mounting system offers a total installation height of up to 238 cm. Additional extension rods can be purchased if needed. Please note that the black ceiling rod is not telescopic and does not allow rotation — for this feature, consider the version with a polished stainless steel telescopic rod.
