Cocoon Fires Aeris – Polished stainless steel ceiling-mounted bioethanol fireplace
The Cocoon Aeris in polished stainless steel is a luxurious ceiling-suspended bioethanol fireplace that blends cutting-edge design with functional elegance. With its smooth, mirrored finish and floating oval shape, the Aeris adds a sculptural element to any interior – even when not in use.
Designed by Federico Otero, this fireplace features a telescopic ceiling rod with six adjustable height levels and a 360° rotatable body, allowing you to enjoy the flames from any angle. It requires no electricity or chimney, making it easy to install in a variety of living spaces. The polished finish creates a bold statement and enhances the overall impression of modern sophistication.
Burner and heat output
The Aeris includes Cocoon Fires’ 1.5-liter manual burner (Cocoon 2.0 Burner System), offering up to 5 hours of burn time per refill. The flame is manually adjustable, with a maximum heat output of 3 kW, suitable for rooms of at least 45 m³. Fuel consumption is approximately 0.3 liters of bioethanol per hour.

Note: Over time and with frequent use, the polished surface may develop a subtle golden or "champagne” hue due to heat exposure — a natural reaction of the material that adds a unique character to the fireplace.
Additional ceiling brackets (e.g., for sloped ceilings) and extension sets can be purchased separately, allowing for versatile installation in multiple rooms or properties. The Cocoon Aeris is also available in matte black with either a steel or black mounting system.
